?Sign Up Newsletters!

?Do your Research

Use price comparison sites to compare the cost of that all-important gift, also set alerts, you get informed via email of the lowest price and where to purchase, this is great if it’s a big ticket item.

?Black Friday Weekend

Most stores offer a pre Black Friday Sale and continue this over the weekend, my advice if it’s a dress for the Christmas party you have your eye on, don’t wait until Black Friday or the Sat or Sunday after, buy in the pre-sale as the chances are your size might not be available!!

☃️Plan, Plan and Plan some more!!

If you prefer shopping in actual shops as opposed to virtual shops, make a list and check it twice! Put your must have (more expensive items) at the top of the list, so you don’t miss out!

?Price Check Again!!

When you shop in-store, have your list in one hand and your phone in the other. As you find the items you want, always do a quick scan to check and see if it is less expensive elsewhere. Every penny counts at this time of year!

?Stick to your List & more importantly your Budget!!

Its very easy to get tempted by offers, additional discounts, Buy 1 full price item and get 20% off another item. Stick to your list and only your list and ditch the credit cards, use cash and allocated money to each item, so you know exactly what you have and only when you have gotten everything on the list, then you are free to treat yourself!!

And, finally if shopping in-store wear comfortable shoes, take breaks and enjoy the festive sights, sounds and smells in between fighting over that flat screen!!
