Coronavirus (Covid-19) Member Information
Please be advised we have closed our Elphin and Strokestown branch offices until further notice. Our Roscommon office remains open Monday to Friday, 10 am – 4 pm, Closed for Lunch from 12 – 12.30. During this time we are suspending the opening of New Accounts and would urge Members to avail of our Online & Mobile Banking services where possible.
We understand this is a difficult time for all our members, and we want to assure you, we are here for you now, as we always have. If you are worried about your financial circumstances during this uncertain period or experiencing financial difficulty in meeting your loan repayments as a direct result of the Coronavirus and want to make an alternative payment arrangement please contact our Roscommon office on 090 6626657.
The following offers the measures we have in place to protect and service our valued Members at this difficult time.
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact counties across the Republic of Ireland, Roscommon Credit Union is conscious that some Members may wish to avoid coming into our offices to carry out transactions. Therefore, we would like to remind Members that most Credit Union services are available via online and mobile banking and by contacting our Roscommon Offices by phone or email.
For all members registered for Online and Mobile Banking, you can avail of the following services via our Website or Mobile App.
- Transfer funds from your credit union account to an external bank account.
- Transfer funds internally from your credit union savings account to your loan account.
- Pay Bills
- View transactions and Request account statements.
- Get a Quick Quote for a Loan and Submit an Online Loan Enquiry.
If you have already registered for online banking but have forgotten your details please contact us on 090 6626657, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or submit an online request for your Pin or Registration details to be posted to you.
To register for Online Banking Services please click here to complete the registration process. A PIN number will be issued in the post. This normally takes 2-3 business days to arrive.
For Online Access your photo ID and address verification must be up to date on your account. Verification documentation can be emailed to: email@example.com or uploaded directly to our website, click here to upload documents.
To update your records you need to provide proof of identity and address, click here to view a complete list of acceptable documents.
Other Services available Online
We offer a Foreign Exchange Click and Collect Service, members can order their desired currency online, click Order Foreign Currency and select a time and date to collect your foreign currency. Collection of foreign currency is available in our Roscommon Office only.

- Get a Quote for a Loan.
- Initiate a Loan Application.
- Request a copy of your credit union account IBAN & BIC. This will allow you to transfer funds into the Credit Union from your bank account.
Members can avail of the following services by email:

- Make a Loan appointment, enquire about a new or existing loan application.

Members wishing to lodge payments direct to their loan account, can avail of our secure post-box, located to the left of the Roscommon office main door. This post box feeds directly into a secured locked vault. Please ensure monies are enclosed in a lodgement envelope, which can be obtained from our Roscommon office, alternatively an envelope, clearly marked with member name, date, account number, contact details such as a mobile number, and the amount enclosed. Please also state where the funds are to be directed and provide an account number. This service is only available at our Roscommon Office.

In the event of a Covid-19 incident preventing public access to our offices, please note that all electronic payments e.g. standing orders will be processed as normal. If the situation regarding Covid-19 directly impacts credit union staff, we will provide you with further updates.
